Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how clinicians learn, practice, and study mental health care. Sentio’s AI Research Program does empirical research on AI safety in mental health from the perspective of consumers, clinicians, and students. Our goal is to engage and collaborate with policymakers, technologists, researchers, and ethicists to assess and improve the safety of AI systems in the domain of mental health.

Sentio also integrates AI into its MFT graduate curriculum through ethically guided, hands-on training that supports deliberate practice, supervision, and evidence-based clinical decision-making while safeguarding client confidentiality
