What does a Sentio MFT student’s week look like?
This page shows an example “week in the life” of a Sentio MFT student. This schedule includes client hours and supervision at our guaranteed practicum site, the Sentio Counseling Center. To maximize the benefits of training, Sentio students have more client hours and supervision hours than many typical practicum sites. Please note that this is an example schedule as the timing of client and individual/triadic supervision hours are not fixed to the times below. Students can expect to spend on average 7-8 hours hours a week on course related homework.

See what our students have to say!
““The SCC has been different as it has a lot of hands-on training each week which allows our skill set as therapists to progress throughout the entire year. Many of my peers advise that they only get training within the first beginning weeks of their practicum but SCC gives us training year around which is amazing.””
““Deliberate Practice has been extremely helpful in the development of my therapeutic skills, each week I feel as though I learn something new and am able to incorporate it into my work.””
““Working at Sentio compared to the other sites I have worked at has been a much more supportive and structured environment. Sentio also provides great supervision with videos of our client sessions which allows you to pinpoint different skill deficits and work to make them strengths.””
