Deliberate Practice Videos

We recommend students try out a few Deliberate Practice exercises as part of the application process by completing the Deliberate Practice Assignment. This assignment consists of recording and uploading a few short videos of the applicant participating in a Deliberate Practice exercise selected from course instruction at Sentio University. Detailed instructions for completing these videos are provided, and applicants are welcome to do as many takes as desired prior to choosing which videos to submit. The Deliberate Practice assignment takes anywhere from 15 minutes to one hour to complete.

We do not expect prospective students to perform high-quality therapeutic skills in these videos - Deliberate Practice can be very difficult! The Deliberate Practice assignment is not a test of clinical ability, but rather a way for applicants and our admissions team to mutually assess if Deliberate Practice is a good fit for each prospective student’s learning style. This assignment is an optional addition to a students application, though we do recommend students complete it and see for themselves how Deliberate Practice feels.
