"Before choosing Sentio University, I spent a great deal of time researching MFT programs. I attended informational meetings, spoke with representatives from multiple schools, and compared curriculum, practicum structure, supervision, and the amount of direct clinical experience students could expect. I wanted to understand not only what each program offered, but how they actually prepared students to become competent therapists. I wasn't looking for the easiest path to licensure. I was looking for the program that would best prepare me to become an effective therapist. What ultimately led me to choose Sentio was its commitment to deliberate practice. Recording every therapy session, reviewing my work with supervisors, and receiving detailed feedback became a regular part of my training. Over time, those experiences strengthened my clinical judgment, deepened my self-awareness, and gave me greater confidence as a therapist. Looking back after graduating, I can honestly say the program delivered on what attracted me in the first place. It changed the way I think about therapy and laid a strong foundation for my continued growth as a therapist. As I interviewed for my first Associate MFT position, I realized how well Sentio had prepared me. The knowledge and clinical skills I gained through deliberate practice and supervision allowed me to draw on my training throughout the interview and played an important role in helping me earn my first Associate MFT position. More importantly, they provided the clinical foundation I needed to begin my career serving clients. I am deeply grateful to the faculty, supervisors, staff, and my fellow cohort members, whose support, encouragement, and shared commitment to learning made this experience so meaningful. Choosing Sentio was one of the best educational decisions I've made. If you're looking for a program that prioritizes clinical excellence, meaningful supervision, and continual professional growth, I highly recommend Sentio University."

"I graduated from the Sentio MFT program in May and cannot recommend them highly enough! As a career-changer, what was most important to me was choosing a program that would have me feeling absolutely ready to practice when I was done and they did that. I actually turned down a spot at CSUN to go to Sentio and I have zero regrets. Their emphasis on clinical skills integrated into the learning from day one was fantastic, as is their dedicated practicum site and their video-based supervision. For me, the hybrid program was perfect -- the cohorts are so small (7 in my class) that Zoom learning feels personal. I graduated with over 600 hours of direct clinical experience, including 100+ with couples, and have had no problem getting a job in private practice (TBH, no one cared about the school name, just that I had a ton of hours, a clear clinical identity and the skills to practice right away)."

"I recently graduated from Sentio University and received my master's degree in MFT. I have been working at a group practice throughout my education and now as an associate, and I have received feedback from my peers confirming that my education prepared me for the field so much more than most programs. Sentio uses a deliberate practice model and video recording of sessions to receive feedback, which is not only unique for a grad program, but invaluable as a trainee. The professors and supervisors are truly invested in your success, and go out of their way to support you and prepare you as you enter your new career. I am so grateful for my experience, and can't recommend enough!"

I just completed the internship for undergraduate students and it was an amazing experience. Would highly recommend for psychology students who are looking for a psychotherapy skills internship as it was really manageable to integrate into a busy class and work schedule!
★★★★★
This internship was truly an amazing experience that I needed to feel the confidence that I can be a good therapist in the future. The skills that we were taught were super helpful and very foundational to build upon my own personal style with therapy. I feel much more confident to go into a graduate program now with these skills as my base. The experience to work with peers and receive professional feedback from a supervisor was very helpful and insightful, and I wish that the program was longer, so I could retain these skills better. However, I am aware it is an undergraduate program so for the length of it, I believe that they have taught and provided enough information to set us up for a good future. Thank you so much Peter Awad and Sentio University!

I had such an enlightening experience throughout this internship. There were countless helpful resources to learn about the skills we were practicing and the active practice with feedback was my favorite part. ★★★★★
I appreciate Sentio University for making a program for undergraduates in the Psychology field. It gives us a preview of what providing psychotherapy is like, and working with professionals in the field for guidance is so dope. This program definitely helped solidify what I want to pursue after my bachelors. The staff also is always available for any questions we have that don't necessarily have to do with the internship, but about advice in your educational journey. There should be more colleges that offer these type of internships to undergrads.

The Sentio 100-hour internship was extremely helpful for me in finding my path after college.
